![]() Plus they didn't even do that in GTA V (where they had all kinds of much more explicit nudity and sexual content elsewhere) so I think they're just not that interested in including it. They found that GTA: San Andreas originally had inappropriate minigames. I guess maybe it had some influence on whether they "went there" with showing more than just the protagonist walking into a girlfriend's house and random dialogue heard from outside at the end of a date, but I think that would've been more to do with not wanting it to take attention away from more important aspects of the game than continued censorship worries. The Hot Coffee Mod came about as a result of data miners discovering sexually-explicit hidden content in the game files. GTA and other games just continued on becoming less restricted in what content they could include regardless (ending up today where things are almost in line with what's accepted in movies and tv). ![]() ![]() Plus full frontal male nudity in TLAD and Luis having two sex scenes in one mission in TBOGT lol. Yeah if it was going to influence anything it would've been the sexual content in the game, and the strippers/lapdances and prostitute sessions were more explicit than ever. New console generation, new era, pretty much new everything and that’s the story they wanted to tell. This was still peak R* when they didn’t play by the rules and still done whatever they wanted. It’s like how Goldberg is meant to be a parody of Jack Thompson. I seriously doubt they could could’ve given a flying f*ck otherwise. If anything it feels like they were giving the middle finger to the controversy by including those references lol.
